  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley


  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, allspice, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, garlic, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
  2. Form the lamb mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the lamb patties and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
