  6. Layer another 8 sheets of phyllo dough, each brushed with butter. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 of the nut mixture.
  7. Layer final 8 sheets of phyllo dough, each brushed with butter.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. In a small saucepan, bring honey and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  10. Drizzle honey syrup over the hot baklava.
