  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Rinse the grape leaves and remove the stems. In a skillet, sauté the rice, pine nuts, currants, green onions, and garlic in olive oil until the rice is lightly toasted. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the dill, mint, and lemon juice. Place a grape leaf on a work surface, shiny side down. Add a spoonful of the rice mixture in the center of the leaf. Fold in the sides, then roll up tightly. Repeat with the remaining grape leaves and rice mixture. Place the dolmades in a steamer and steam for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked. Serve warm or at room temperature.
