  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ‌ground⁤ allspice
  • 1/2 ​tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black⁤ pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1⁣ lb.⁢ large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 ⁣cup white ​wine
  • 1/4 cup ‌chicken‍ broth
  • 1/4 cup⁣ chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup ‌chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4​ cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup ‍Kalamata ⁢olives,‌ pitted and chopped


1. Preheat oven to 350°F.⁣ Grease‌ a 9×13-inch baking​ dish.

2. ​In a large bowl, combine the⁣ lamb, ⁢onion, garlic, oregano, cumin, cinnamon, ‍allspice, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs. ⁢Mix well and shape ⁤into ⁤1-inch balls.

3. In a large ⁤skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of the olive oil over‌ medium-high heat. Add the ⁣meatballs and brown on all sides. Transfer to the baking dish.

4. In‍ the​ same skillet, add⁣ the ⁣remaining 2 tablespoons of olive‌ oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add​ the shrimp and sauté until just pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the ‌pan and set ⁢aside.

You can ⁢also use ground beef ⁣or turkey instead of⁤ lamb.
