  1. I'm a big fan of Chef John's super-decadent mashed potatoes with a massive overdose of butter. However, I really like the way you use the garlic here, and I was thinking of adding yogurt, sour cream or creme fraiche at the end instead of the milk in his recipe. So I will strongly consider borrowing parts of this recipe this Thanksgiving. Thanks!

  2. Oh wow! I've despised mashed spuds all my life. It's only recently I've started to come round! I really don't like all the richness when full cream milk or cream and butter are used so I usually use skim milk and water. I have never thought of using yoghurt, and OMG!!! I can officially say I LOVE MASHED POTATOES now!!! I keep saying it, but you are a LEGEND Albert! Thank you over and over and over again for your inspiration, time, passion and for sharing all of this with us!
