When gruff and independent Candy meets her stubborn birth mother, will the two manage to open their hearts to each other?

  1. That was soooo good!! I've never seen Essence Atkins play such a role to that capacity so I was surprised but i liked that she stretched herself for that particular character. The ending was rushed but other than that this was really good! Great movie!!

  2. I don't know how I found this movie but it was definitely worth watching today it was cute Dandy comedic and an inspiration.

Best Scene: When you noticed MaryJo and Candy were very similar. The apple don't fall too far from the tree

Funny Scene: when she fell in dog poop and kissed Lewis

LMAO: when MaryJo took the watch off the deceased father.

Overall she was a bisch… I couldn't imagine working for her. I'm glad she found her happiness and let go her demons 💜❤💙🤣🤣😂😀😃

  3. I really hate how these wonderful black movies just go unheard of until years later. This is my first time hearing of this movie. There is nothing wrong with knowing who you got your dna, eyes, nose, height from. And even if the parents didn't want a relationship, maybe the aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins do.

  4. Omg. This was such a GREAT GREAT MOVIE. It came out of nowhere and I'm Soo glad I watched it. Great acting and big ups to all the crew 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽😘♥️

  5. I strongly agree we need more movies such as this which leads people to relay on God when our world seems to be falling apart we ought to trust and believe in our heavenly father and leave it at his feet.

  6. I really enjoy the movie. The acting was good, the cast was amazing. Really good cast, but I do wish there was a little more detail and depth about the situations and the coming of her being who she is but overall It got directly to the point and I appreciated the movie it was good
