We’re in Athens, Greece! In this 4 part series we’re exploring Greece’s capital city to hunt down the best local food. Today’s it’s all about Greek street food- we start off breakfast-ing like the locals. Greeks don’t sit down to a huge breakfast normally, they’re more an eat and run sort of lot. We grab some breakfast staples- a koulouri (a type of bread ring) and a Freddo espresso and Freddo cappuccino. Next up we snack on some fresh fried fish (sand smelt and cod) as we wander around Athens before tucking into some incredible souvlaki from a local’s favourite. We finish with galaktoboureko- a mouthwatering pastry made from filo and semolina custard from a bakery that’s been around since 1961. We hope you enjoyed this Greek street food video, thanks for watching! #greekfood #greece #greekstreetfood

  1. What a great video again guys ! You are so good at this ! Well done for not using a straw for your freddos. It's a big issue here in greece because we love cold coffees and we are using a lot of straws per year.
Thanks again for coming ! Keep up your good work ! Greetings !

  2. Freddo without a straw;Wrong move.
2nd. Drinking it in a 5 minutes ;also wrong move.
Do it like we greeks do. Keep the freddo for at least 40-45 minutes. (with a straw) 😂

  3. Gotta love souvlaki… Lieles prefers the chicken, he loves them, but I totally go crazy with the pork.

I would go crazy with all those pastries.

We were obsessed with the seafood cones at Zisis – so fresh and a cool way to get seafood on the go, yum!
The souvlakis look incredible, you guys are really making us want to get back there pronto for a good feed 😅😅
    Great video again guys! ❤

  8. Why do you insist on stuffing your gobs and then struggling to talk making obnoxious sounds, muffled speech while displaying the food half eaten in your mouth?

  9. Why do I keep on watching these videos and feel hungry? It's 11:30pm here in Aussie and now I feel like heading out for Greek food. The joys for me is I live where most of the greeks live in Melbourne. I just need to pop around the corner.
