This is the BEST recipe for pitta breads. Easy to make and never fails – you have to try them – you are going to love them!
The ingredients you need are:
7g dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
160ml milk (at room temperature)
80ml water (at room temperature)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon of olive oil
320g strong white flour (plus 20g to 30g extra in case you need it)
Mixture for brushing the pitta breads – juice of 1 lemon, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of Greek dried oregano.
