Hi there,
Today we have for the first time a grrek dessert called Galaktoboureko, a greek custard pie with semolina and phyllo sheets. Unfortunatelly the phyllo sheets are, again, not made by me.
You will see that it is really easy and it tastes delicious.

For the syrup:
800 g sugar
450 ml water
1 cinnamon stick
Peel of 1 lemon
75 g honey

For the filling:
4 eggs
200 g granulated sugar
170 g semolina
100 g butter
220 g butter, melted
500 g heavy cream 35%
500 g milk, 3,5%
8 Phyllo sheets
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 baking form 36×22 cm
