• ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 2 teaspoons lemon juice
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• ½ cucumber, diced (optional)


1️⃣ Prepare the tzaziki sauce by combining all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until well combined. Set aside.

2️⃣ Open up each of the pita pocket breads so that it can be stuffed full of goodness. Careful not to tear. Stuff full of the vegetable fillings, spread a little tzaziki sauce in there for flavor.

  1. I actually thought that it would be put in a blender to puree it all. But I am NOT the chef, (she is), and I can't give orders like that jerk, (so called chef), Gordon Ramsey, to do it my way!!! It looks very yummy, and I DO love my gyros! I just happen to have some gyro meat I cooked up a few weeks back so I think it is time to do a grocery run for the ingredients for that along with the stuff to make this amazing looking sauce! Yums coming SOON!!!

  2. This looked amazing! For a thicker consistency, you can shred the cucumber on the large holes of a grater, put it in a colander with some salt till you finish chopping the dill, and then squeeze as much water out of the shredded cucumber as you can! Then add it to the recipe. This is how we make it in Greece ☀️🏖🙋‍♀️🙂
