Greek Gavro Easy Recipe

500g Gavro
100g Flour
Vegetable oil

Wash the gavro first.

Remove the head and scrape the insides out.

Salt the gavro (1/2 Tbs maybe) one layer and mix it all in.

Flour the gavro in a packet and shake it until all coated.

Place either in a pan with hot oil and cook for a couple of minutes until crispy.

Place in an airfryer and spray with olive oil until all coated. Fry for about 8 minutes until crispy enjoy.

Soak gavro with 1 or 2 lemons worth of juice.

After the flour add breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.

Tips: If the gavro is firm its good.
If the eyes are red or white they aren’t fresh.

Do not over salt the gavro and leave over night. Becomes to salty.
