How to cook Dahi Wala Chicken Curry | Yogurt Chicken Gravy | Punjabi Style Chicken Thighs Recipe in Easy Steps.

Stainless Steel Cookware –

1 ½ lbs. boneless Chicken legs/thighs –
1= cup Yogurt / Dahi / Curd –
1= Onion –
2= Tomato –
1 = Potato (secret ingredient) –
2= piece ginger –
1= green Serrano chili –
1= Tsp Zeera (Cumin seed) –
1= Tsp Garam Masala –
1= Tsp Red chili powder –
1= Tsp Black Pepper –
1= Tsp Salt to taste –
2= Tbsp Olive oil –
Pinch Red / Orange Food coloring –
Garnish with fresh Cilantro – and serve….ENJOY!!!

  3. So, you don't fry the chicken at all in the olive oil, but rather let the chicken absorb the flavor from the mixture you made using the food processor? I wonder then, why don't we skip the oil altogether to make it healthier? If we don't use oil to fry stuffs, is it really going to improve the taste? Thanks for your reply!

    (I normally fry the chicken and then add the other stffs and yoghurt, but an oilless recipe should be perfect for health!)

  4. sir u did not put oil before u added the blended mixture (potato, onion,tomato etc). The mixture can stick to the pan. Can i add a little bit oil and then the mixture ? Pls reply. The recipe looks very delicious and easy.

  5. i want to make this recipe, but what kind of yogurt would you suggest i use? because i know that you said that yours is home made, but i don't have the tools or ability to make homemade yogurt at the moment, so what kind of yogurt can i use that i would buy from the grocery store? would i use greek yogurt, or just plain yogurt? please tell me so i know ^_^

  7. This looks great! I can't wait to try it. Dahi Wala Chicken was a favorite of mine at my Indian restaurant, but much to my dismay they replaced it with Phaal! I have tried making curries with yoghurt in the past but they always curdle or turn grainy. How do I avoid this? Thanks!
