The beautiful Chania Crete was open again! At the time of my visit, Greece had only just opened its borders after the pandemic and it didn’t take too long for the streets and restaurants to fill up with tourists from all over Europe, and the world.

I stayed at the Lucia (Loukia) hotel right on the harbor, using that as a base from where I would drive out each day with a new destination in mind. In this video, tho, we just tour Chania – enjoying the vibrant scenes of life around the lighthouse and trying out a couple of the better restaurants on the harbor – including VFC’s favorite spot to get a gyro/souvlaki in the city!

We also tried the locally-brewed beer Charma and enjoyed plenty of street music and entertainment, as well!

Another item we had to cross off is eating a real Greek salad, because Americans just don’t do Greek Salads correctly! lol.

The sunsets were beautiful, the food was fantastic and we took a trip into Klik night club, right off the main strip of the harbor for some nostalgic memories and to smell like smoke and feel like a sardine, the place was packed full!

Ah yeah.
