  1. I lived in Turkey for more than 16 years and I gotta say that I dislike the rose extract too. Anything but the one that you chose to make which is kinda unfortunate 🙄 I also personally like those with a lighter consistency and an airy texture(imagine a less sweet and chewier marshmallow with air bubbles). They are usually topped and/or flavored with mint, coconut flakes, pistachios, hazelnuts etc. The one that you made is really dense and sweet. I hope you give it a try someday 🤗🤗

  2. This is also commonly known in Egypt as malban but we don't add food colouring most of the times . Rose water is added as well but it is not essential as alot of people dislike it. It is preferable to add nuts or cream inside and make the malban itself softer

  3. Love the way you make/cook different foods from movies and cartoons
but this is nowhere near a Turkish delight. Simply you can buy/order it and taste for yourself
And people who love narnia can also buy them. Im pretty sure that they will taste better than the ones in the movie

  4. I love the comments about the rose water 😂😂😂😂 I'm Turkish so it's kinda like I'm used to it, growing up eating that but whenever I gave it to my friends they would say it takes like soap 😂

  5. If you don't like the Rose flavor I'd try a different brand. I've had many Rose & Lemon flavored turkish delights and they always end up being the best flavor each candy store has to offer. I'd bet you didn't make it right or the flavoring was a bad one. All the ones I tried tend to be very light on the rose flavor.
