Potato salad is the ultimate summer salad recipe. This easy, creamy, crunchy, classic potato salad recipe is just like my mom used to make. In fact it’s her recipe, that I’ve lovingly adopted and have been making for more than 20 years. Believe me when I say, it’s the BEST potato salad recipe you’ll ever taste!

Homemade potato salad is fresh and better than anything you can buy in the store. I also use my homemade mayonnaise recipe to make it healthier! Serve it up as a salad recipe or side dish recipe at your next barbecue, party or potluck. Enjoy!

  1. Hi guys! Summer is right around the corner and we all need a great potato salad recipe, right? This is my mom's recipe and I'm excited to share it with you today. I've got another classic recipe coming your way next week that you don't want to miss either. Stay tuned! 😉 xo – Lisa

  2. That looks just irresistibly delicious! I’m so trying this potato salad next weekend! Thank you so much for sharing this with us 😊 I love recipes that are tried out by generations, those are always the best 😊

  3. Very similar to our family's version. Try adding peeled, seeded & diced cucumber: it ups the veggie quotient and keeps it nice & light. A handful of frozen peas adds nice color, too.

  4. Hi Lisa. Love your recipes, though I eat super low carb diet. Have been binging on your videos!! Awesome, delicious and fresh healthy recipes! !! Yay.
I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I am from Costa Rica, married to a German citizen from the Black Forest. Our son, is 26 and is an international business grad student and works for the corporate offices of Vitamix. We too love world traveling. So many similarities to you!!!! Last Nov. Went on to Thailand and Cambodia for almost a month. My name is Ruth Loeffler. Will look for you in facebook. I like you a lot. Thanks for sharing great recipes and other knowledge.

  5. It looks very colorful but the radishes are very bitter tasting better off with dill relish instead of radishes do not bitter taste good in potato salad no no no no no no no no no no.

  6. I’m clearly from the Midwest, my potato salad DOES use russet potatoes, diced onion, sweet relish, hard boiled eggs, yellow mustard, mayo and salt/pepper. That’s what I grew up eating, so to me it’s the best, but I will definitely give this a shot! I saw somebody in the comments mentioned adding capers, too, that sounds amazing!
