Angelo’s Mom is back with black forest cake with pecans and cognac. You need 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1 3/4 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 3/4 cup cocoa powder, two eggs, 3/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1 teaspoon salt. For the pecan topping you need pecans, brown sugar, butter, and liquor (brandy, whiskey, cognac). Follow along and bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes.

  1. Omg I love candied walnuts. Also I'm having a bit of reflection with baking channels on YouTube at the moment, they're feeling pushed off the platform by clickbaity channels like So Yummy and Tasty. The channel How to Cook That has a video about it and I'm trying to prod some wine moms into critical analysis of the way these corporate content mills manipulate people.
